An Enriching volunteer experience

The implication of our trained volunteers prevents the exhaustion and isolation suffered by patients and their families.

The Palliative Home-Care Society of Greater Montreal maintains a competent team of volunteers from all walks of life who commit to giving about 6 hours a week of their time.

Futhermore, we also have students from various educational backgrounds who intern as volunteer personnel.

Volunteering Options :

• Accompaniment services : Friendly visits, psychological and spiritual support
• Respite care : Respite care for family and a secure presence with the patient
• Transport services : Transportation for medical appointments and delivery of medical equipment.
  Milage costs are reimbursed. A parking pass is provided.

Training is provided for each type of volunteering.
